Sega Utilities was responsible for the installation of the new underground electrical infrastructure that facilitated the upgrade of the electrical room and decommissioning of the hydro vault. This project involved substantial pre-construction coordination that led to a seamless transition from old outdated equipment to new modernized distribution.

Sega Utilities is a Qualified Civil Contractor for Hydro Ottawa and on this project we performed a new underground installation. The installation consisted of a new 6’x12’ switching manhole, grounding, protection bollards and 150m of concrete encased duct-bank for the client and was inspected by Hydro Ottawa.

Sega Utilities was awarded this project as prime contractor for the City of Cornwall and the scope was to perform the installation of a new streetlighting system on a very busy roadway with heavy truck traffic. Managing traffic control and minimizing disruption to the surrounding businesses was critical. This project was completed as per the contract schedule and maintained a high level of safety throughout.
